The History Project has produced two important publications documenting Boston’s LGBTQ+ history.
Improper Bostonians is a 200-page book based on The History Project's groundbreaking exhibition Public Faces/Private Lives and which spans more than three hundred years of Boston's history—from the Puritans to the 1960s. Routes of Pride is a map showing the evolution of Boston’s Pride celebration over three decades.
